Wild Animals Visit Cropwell Bishop Primary School!

Reception, Class 1, and Class 2 had an exciting and unforgettable experience this week as they welcomed some incredible wild animals into school!

Laura from Animals UK visited and introduced the children to a fascinating selection of creatures, including a Python Snake, a Tarantula, a Skunk, a Chameleon, and even an Owl! The children had the chance to see these amazing animals up close and, for the bravest among them, even hold some of them.

Throughout the session, Laura shared lots of interesting facts about each animal, explaining where they live, what they eat, and how they survive in the wild. The children were particularly amazed by the Python’s smooth scales, the Chameleon’s ability to change colour, and the softness of the Skunk’s fur.

A huge thank you to Laura for bringing these wonderful creatures to visit and for giving the children such a fantastic hands-on learning experience!
